Diego Paparella Mi è successa una cosa stranissima. Non mi era mai capitato finora. Ve la racconto. Volo AZ13371 da OMDB a SBGR. Decollo regolare alle alle 21:00z dalla pista 30R di Dubai. A 400 ft inseriamo l'autopilota: modalità LNAV e VNAV attivate. Saliamo fino al primo step climb a FL320. Voliamo regolarmente la SID MUVL2F e successivamente procediamo regolari sul piano di volo: MUVLA N571 ALPOB UN563 GIBUS G663 KIA G782 JDW. Forti venti contrari da nord/ovest a circa 85 Kt ci rallentano la crociera. Alle ore 23:00z entra in scena l'imprevisto. Ci troviamo lungo la G782, tra i punti LOSER ed ASLAT. Il velivolo improvvisamente smette di seguire la linea magenta e vira verso destra a nord, poi nuovamente a sinistra verso sud, quindi sempre mantenedo fl320, effettua un 360 a destra. Disattivo l'AP e cerco di mantenere il controllo manuale. Sull'FMC imposto un diretto sul VOR di JEDDAH. Riattivo l'AP ed in modalità HDG cerco di rientrare in rotta. Attacco la modalità LNAV ma nulla: non ne vuol sapere di seguire la rotta. Sfoglio tutta la pagina LEG dell'FMC e verifico che tutti i waypoint sono regolari e la linea magenta non è mai interrotta. Stacco e riattacco l'AP, di nuovo sull'FMC imposto un diretto su JEDDAH. Vado in modalità LNAV. Questa volta il velivolo riprende a seguire normalmente la rotta.
